Las nominaciones a los 85º premios de la Academia se anunciarán en directo en Jueves, 10 de enero 2013, a las 17:30 (horario de Los Ángeles) en el Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

La gala y entrega de los premios Oscars de la Academia por sus logros cinematográficos sobresalientes en 2012 se presentará el Domingo, 24 de febrero 2013, en The Dolby™ Theatre y Highland Center® en Hollywood, será y televisado en vivo por la cadena ABC. La presentación de Oscar también será retransmitida en directo en más de 225 países de todo el mundo.
