Un hombre de 38 años, identificado como Sean Murphy se le ocurrió la feliz idea de quitarse una verruga de un tiro.
Vivía con una verruga en el dedo desde hacia 5 años, pese que intentó de todo para deshacerse de ella a base de cremas y curas en farmacias y médicos, está permaneció intacta en su dedo.
La dichosa verruga le hacia la vida imposible, le impedía dormir e incluso pensar por los picores y dolores que le producía. Cansado de todo, decidió robar una escopeta y eliminar la verruga de un disparo. Pero antes de realizar dicha locura, se emborrachó a base de cervezas para anestesiar lo más posible el cuerpo y procedió a completa su "gran idea".
Disparó sobre la verruga eliminándola por completo, junto con su dedo. El dedo quedó prácticamente irreconocible, aunque aseguró que valió la pena ya que consiguió hacer desaparecer el dolor.
Pero los problemas no acabaron ahí, ya que ahora se enfrenta ante el tribunal por posesión de un arma robada e ilegal, y además de la perdida de su empleo de seguridad por incapacidad de ejercer el trabajo tras la perdida del dedo.
